Description:  Spiro Mounds is a pre-Columbian archaeological site near Spiro, Oklahoma.  The site includes mounds where many artifacts have been found.

From He Walked the Americas – “When the University of Oklahoma was digging in the Spiro Mound, much pottery was discovered which showed winged beings singing, and here was also the hand with the cross through the palm.” [12]
